Visit a Key Man Engravables store to select from an assortment of pendant styles. They are available in gold colour, 10kt gold, sterling silver or rhodium plated depending on the style.

The following information will help you when making your purchase at one of our stores.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE SENDING YOUR PHOTO

1. How long will it take to receive my Photo Engraved item?

Seven (7) to twenty-one (21) days from the time of order and photo submission.

2. How will my photo be cropped?

Your images will be automatically cropped and engraved in portrait format (see samples below).

Shows how the image will be cropped (shows the face and neck area) for engraving unless otherwise specified in your email submission.

3. How do I know if my photo is good enough for your engraving process?

REMEMBER, when choosing a photo, a good high quality photo will translate to a good high quality photo engraving. Generally, if the photo is slightly blurred, or if the photo is scratched or the paper is dimpled, these imperfections will also appear on the engraving as well.

When submitting photos, remember that the ideal photo for the photo engraving process would be one where the hair line is distinct from the background. The background and face should be bright and clear

4. How large should my photo be?

The minimum size would be wallet size at 2x3 inches. Generally they do not have to be any larger than 5x7 inches. We will accept photos up to 8x10 inches.

5. Will my photo be returned to me?

We will send your photo back along with your completed order, in the exact condition it was given, directly to the store where you purchased the item. Please remember to write your name, telephone number and Receipt number on the back of your photograph. Key Man Engravables will not take responsibility for any loss of photographs during mailing or shipping.

6. How will I get my photo to you?

There are two ways we can get your photo: through regular mail or through e-mail. For best results and quick turn-around time, we suggest that you use e-mail.

If you send the photo through e-mail:

  • The image must be at least 300dpi and no larger than 2"x3"
  • Acceptable formats are JPEG or TIFF (We do not accept GIF images)
  • Be sure the image size does not exceed 5MB
  • Photos can be in Black & White or Colour

IMPORTANT: be sure to include the RECEIPT NUMBER from your bill of sale. Once received, the photo(s) will be examined for quality, and if they are not acceptable, we will send you a reply within 24 hrs detailing any problems that have been found.

You can e-mail the photo to photos@keymanengravables.com.

If you choose to send through regular mail:

  • Be sure to insert a strong cardboard backing to protect your photo from bending during the delivery process. You can send the photo with sufficient postage to:
